On Sunday the 20th of July 2008 will take place the third edition of the “Sole Luna” Festival , International Festival of Documentaries on Mediterranean and Islam.

The Festival includes 19 documentaries divided into two sections, Mediterranean and Islam.

Concerts, parties, special screenings and food entertainment will gladden the Festival evenings, starting every night from 9.00 p.m.

The Festival activities will end on Friday the 25th.

Since three years the Festival has also become a chance of capacity building on the audiovisual mean. This year a group of 26 young students, 11 Lebanese invited by the Foreign Office and 15 Sicilians from the Dams course of the University of Palermo will participate. The Capacity Building Course “From Reportage to Documentary: to tell the truth” will last from the 20th to the 27th of July.
